Fringe SOFA


refers to unconventional or avant-garde furniture designs that are outside of mainstream or traditional styles. These designs often push the boundaries of form, function, and materials to create unique and innovative pieces.




      I start with the word 'Fringe' and ask myself, 'What does 'Fringe' mean for people? What does 'Fringe' mean for myself?' The final outcome is a furniture piece exhibited at the Fringe Gala, sponsored by the Pasadena Art Alliance (PAA). The intent of this project is to bring a physical creation to life from an abstract idea through divergent thinking and the blend of avant-garde aesthetics with functionality.
